Frequently Asked Questions
What is the metal you use for your jewellery?
All earrings (studs and danglies) are made with either stainless steel or plated zinc alloy, both of which are hypoallergenic. If you wish to have a different hook to the one shown or replace it with a plastic hook please message me upon checkout. The resin we used is the highest grade jewellery resin with a glass like finish. It is UV stable and has no VOCs.

Can you make your earrings as clip-ons?
Many of the designs can be made as clip-ons instead of pierced earrings. Just message me.

Can you make custom and personalised orders?
We welcome custom orders. As we make everything from scratch, the options we can create are infinite. If you want a different shape, colour or more sparkle its not a problem. We can work with you to create your perfect design.

Will my item be exactly the same as the photo?
As with everything handmade, there will always be slight variances. Many items will be made to order and we always endeavour to stay as close to the original as possible. Please bear in mind that screens have different settings which may display colours contrastingly. Also, tiny bubbles naturally appear in resin during the pouring and mixing process and when it cures and hardens, it leaves tiny holes. Every effort is made to ensure these bubbles are dispersed during the process but occasionally they might be present in your item but it is not a flaw and will not affect your enjoyment.

Resin Jewellery Care Instructions
Resin is pretty resilient and hard-wearing but to get the best out of your pieces and ensure they last a lifetime please try to adhere to the following advice. This will keep your pieces looking their best.
- Try to avoid bumping and scratching your resin jewellery. Do NOT wear it whilst sleeping, exercising, getting wet or doing manual work with hands. This could damage your jewellery piece.
- Do NOT submerge your jewellery pieces in water. Resin is NOT waterproof, only water resistant. So please remember to remove your jewellery before showers, swimming, washing up etc.
- Store your jewellery out of direct sunlight. Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can cause the resin to discolour and soften. AVOID extreme heat. Ultimately resin is a form of plastic and has a relatively low melting point, so its best not to leave it out in direct sunlight or close to any heat source as this may lead to the resin softening, clouding and degrading.
- If your piece is in regular contact with smoke it could yellow.
- Avoid exposing your jewellery to harsh chemicals and cleaning products. This includes perfume, hair spray, cleaning solutions, nail polish remover, antibacterial hand sanitiser, abrasive creams, suntan lotion etc. Solvents will react with the epoxy and cause it to become scaly, yellow, chip or break down completely.
- Oils from your skin can eventually over a ong period of time start to build up on the surface of the resin. This can be removed by using a mild dish soap, warm water and a soft cloth.
- The metal parts of your jewellery must not be exposed to moisture or long periods of direct sunlight. They will start to discolour.
- STORE your resin in a cool dry place, away from direct sunlight.
- POLISH your resin with a dry soft cloth such as a microfibre cloth. This will keep the high shine.
